Wimbledon 2027

28 Jun – 11 Jul 2027 · All England Lawn Tennis Club

Grass courts, sporting drama and carefully preserved ritual define the oldest tennis major.

Why it belongs on the circuit

Wimbledon’s appeal rests on more than tennis. Grass courts, distinctive rituals, the grounds and the steady evolution of a long-established event make the Championships one of sport’s great summer occasions. The right visit depends as much on your appetite for atmosphere as on whether you secure a particular showcourt ticket.

How to approach the visit

The 2027 Championships are scheduled for 28 June–11 July. Ballot, hospitality, official resale and any queuing arrangements may have different requirements. Check the All England Club’s current ticket guidance rather than assuming that a previously published procedure will be identical next year.

The site is in southwest London, and local transport plus entry screening need time. Build a day that permits breaks between matches and changes in the order of play. If you are planning around a certain player, remember that draws and match times remain unknown until much nearer the event.

Three things to consider

01

Confirm entry and session rules directly with the event organiser.

02

Choose accommodation for walkability and transport, not only for its address.

03

Leave unprogrammed time to experience the city beyond the headline event.
